A city can be better understood if you know its history, the same applies for its people. I can show you hidden secrets, legends and true stories. Through my passionate interest in the history of nearly everything, I am able to put most subjects into a perspective. I have been a guide here in Amsterdam and the Netherlands for over 25 years.

I spend half my time traveling all over the globe which resulted in a flexible mind, because traveling confronts you with different ways of thinking and doing things. It allows me to keep seeing Amsterdam with new eyes, just like visitors keep teaching me new things about my old love. The more we know, the more we realize how little we know.
