A Wonderful and Free View of the City from Olympiaberg
Why Marcia recommends this viewpoint
You may pay to go to St. Peter's church tower or to go up to the Olympic Tower - they are nice viewpoints in Munich. But this spot in the Olympic Park will provide you with a free and beautiful panorama of the city center, the Alps and of many regions of the city, mainly during the sunset hours. The mountain seems to be natural, but it was surprisingly built with city wreckage after World War II!
Good to know
You will have to climb a 60 meter mountain to reach Olympiaberg. But don't worry: the climb is smooth and not too steep! Enjoy the view!
