About me

I am Gabriela and I am very proud of this beautiful city and as an Official Tour Guide I'm very happy to share my knowledge with travelers from around the world.Granada is not just a historical city where sightseeing. There is no day that I can't get excited when I walk through the streets and suddenly, unexpectedly the Alhambra appears, the fortress of the talking walls and singing waters, one of the monuments with more soul in the world, whose rough stone keeps in its most sublime inner beauty. And what I like most is that I can share these feelings and engage with all those who always want new experiences and thus enrich their restless spirits. Not only do I like history and art, I also love food, I can say that I am a real foodie! I really enjoy sharing tapas with my friends, family and travellers who visit Granada. Travel and books are in my list of "things that I love" and my cat, Emma...

Granada tips

1. What are the best local dishes?

The local food in Granada is TAPAS, small portions of any kind of food accompanied by a glass of beer or wine. We have cheeks, Spanish omelette, meat with tomato, spinach with cream, chicken curry, vegguie and vegan tapas, etc An infinity of flavours and the best thing is that in Granada they are free! Every drink you order you have a tapa to enjoy with your friends, we are trying them from bar to bar, we are never away when it comes to tasting food!

2. What are the best local dishes?

We have entire neighborhoods full of tapas bars, and their locals hop from bar to bar enjoying a tapa here and another tapa there. Definitely the best venues are the ones the locals go to and for me as the old ones are the best, no doubt!
