The History and Culture of Normandy
About me
I'm a Private Tour Guide who has traveled extensively, living and working across Europe and Asia. After initially being introduced to Normandy by bringing tour groups from the UK to visit the D-Day Beaches or Monet's Garden in Giverny, I soon realized I'd like to live in this region of verdant countryside and varied coasts, and in 2007 I settled down in this beautiful part of France. With a particular interest in history I've led many tours of the D-Day Beaches and associated sights, but I have also been inspired to introduce others to the wonderful sights, smells and tastes of Normandy. From the D-Day beaches to Monet's garden; from the old picturesque fishing ports of the coast to the largest Basilica in N. Europe; from the birthplace of William the Conqueror, to the place where Joan of Arc was executed; I can introduce you to the real Normandy and help you make the most of your holiday.
